Sixer · withdrawal speed, methods and TDS reading
The desk reads the operator's withdrawal flow. UPI speed, net banking time, minimum and maximum withdrawal rules, TDS on net winnings, large-withdrawal risk checks and the first-withdrawal flow every reader hits at least once.
Withdrawal methods
Operators allow withdrawals to a single-holder Indian bank account whose name matches your KYC. UPI and net banking are the two most common routes. Some operators also support direct IMPS and select wallets. The desk recommends UPI for two reasons: it is the fastest and the operator's risk-check is shortest for UPI handles that match the KYC mobile number.
Minimum withdrawal is usually ₹ 100. Maximum withdrawal is published per transaction, per day and per month. The desk treats the operator's published maximums as the working ceiling; large-withdrawal exemptions are case-by-case.
Speed reference
- UPI: clears in 30 minutes on average for verified users. First-time UPI withdrawals may take 4 to 6 hours.
- Net banking (IMPS): clears in 4 to 6 hours on business days, longer on weekends.
- Net banking (NEFT): clears in 4 to 6 hours on business days. Does not operate on Sundays and bank holidays.
- Large first-time withdrawals: held for up to 24 hours for a server-side risk check. The desk has observed this happen once per reader, not on every withdrawal.
First withdrawal
The first withdrawal is the slowest because the operator performs a name-match check on the bank account. The check fails when the bank account holder name does not exactly match the KYC name. The most common fix: contact your bank and ask them to update the name on the account to match your PAN. Some banks charge a small fee for the update; the fix is one-time.
The desk's first-withdrawal checklist:
- Open the operator's app, tap Wallet, then tap Withdraw.
- Enter the amount. Confirm the amount in the confirmation dialog.
- Choose UPI or net banking. Enter your UPI ID or bank account number, IFSC and account holder name.
- Confirm the withdrawal. The operator's risk check runs for 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Check your bank statement or UPI app for the credit.
TDS on winnings
The operator deducts 30 percent TDS on net winnings above ₹ 10,000 in a financial year under Section 194BA. Net winnings are calculated as the total prize received minus the entry fee paid for the winning contest. The operator issues Form 16A (TDS certificate) within 15 days of the deduction. The desk recommends attaching Form 16A when filing your ITR.
If you have a net loss for the financial year (more entry fees paid than winnings received), you cannot set off the loss against other income under current Indian tax law. Fantasy cricket is treated as a separate "online gaming" source under Section 115BBJ.
Large-withdrawal rules
Withdrawals above ₹ 50,000 may attract an enhanced source-of-funds check. The operator may ask for an additional bank statement, salary slip or income-tax acknowledgement. The check is a one-time exercise per user. The desk recommends pre-loading a recent bank statement in the operator's KYC vault so the check clears on the first attempt.
Withdrawals above ₹ 1,00,000 may be split across multiple working days at the operator's discretion. This is standard compliance practice, not a delay tactic.
Common rejection reasons
- Bank account holder name does not match KYC name.
- IFSC code is incorrect or belongs to a different branch.
- UPI ID is mapped to a different mobile number than the one used at signup.
- Account is a joint account. Only single-holder accounts are accepted.
- Withdrawal exceeds the operator's per-day maximum.
Responsible play reminder
The desk reminds every reader that fantasy cricket is a paid contest format. Set a weekly withdrawal floor below which you will not let your wallet balance drop, and walk away when the desk tells you the window is unclear. Read the responsible play boundary before you withdraw winnings.
Withdrawal · FAQ
How long does a UPI withdrawal take?
UPI withdrawals clear in 30 minutes on average for verified users. First-time UPI withdrawals may take 4 to 6 hours because the operator performs a one-time name-match check on the UPI handle.
Can I withdraw to a joint bank account?
No. The operator only allows withdrawals to a single-holder bank account in the same name as your KYC. Joint accounts are not accepted.
What happens if my withdrawal is rejected?
The operator credits the rejected amount back to your wallet within 24 hours and emails the rejection reason. The most common reason is a name mismatch between the bank account and the KYC. Update the name on the bank account and re-request the withdrawal.
What is TDS on fantasy winnings?
Section 194BA requires the operator to deduct 30 percent TDS on net winnings above ₹ 10,000 in a financial year. Net winnings are the total prize received minus the entry fee paid for the winning contest. The operator issues Form 16A within 15 days of the deduction.
Is there a maximum withdrawal?
Yes. The operator publishes a maximum per transaction, per day and per month. The maximums vary by KYC tier and account history. The desk treats the operator's published maximum as the working ceiling.
